The initiative, led by UNESSA in collaboration with Fondazione Luigi Clerici, Technical Training Bulgaria, GRETA of Val d’Oise, and OsloMet, runs from October 2024 to March 2027, with funding from the European Commission.
The aim of the project is to share experiences and best practices specific to the childcare profession, and to identify the social and educational training needs within the field. This analysis will support the collective development of training modules focused on inclusion, ecology, and supervision, addressing the skills and practical competencies essential for the effective practice of childcare work. These modules will then be tested.
The specific activities of RISE UP include:
- Developing a practical guide that highlights best practices in inclusion, ecology, and supervision.
- Creating training modules and establishing a framework for certifying skills in the field.
- Fostering communication and collaboration among key stakeholders in early childhood care to strengthen the sector.
