ERASMUS + project “Pédagogie de chantiers – a revised approach to foster formative ladders and bridges” – starting 01/09/2019 until 31/12/2021

Although solid progress has been made in recent years, too many young people still leave school with low or no qualifications and face a higher risk of unemployment, poverty and social exclusion.

While there is an urgent need to coordinate actions between educational and non-educational actors and find inclusive responses, several studies show that transversal competences have become essential, impacting on life, academic and social success, as well as on the decline in drop-out rates.

The partnership composed of 6 organizations from 5 Member States (France, Belgium, Greece, Italy and Germany) aims to promote formative bridges by framing the methods and instruments of the Pédagogie de Chantier in the logic of the evaluation and certification of skills.

Based on a rethought pedagogical approach, the partnership sets itself the following objectives:

  • Create a reference framework for evaluating the skills mobilised by the experiences of the Pédagogie de Chantier, in particular transversal skills, which are recognised as fundamental skills for professional integration, citizenship and the well-being of the individual.
  • Define the learning outcomes of the training paths of different sectors in relation to the cultural heritage of the territories through the common European language ECVET
  • Support the educational achievements of young people with the contribution of representatives from the business world in order to break the cycle of inequality, poverty and exclusion.
  • Encourage and promote collaborative approaches and educational alliances to reduce early school leaving in their territory.

The intellectual outputs engaged by the partnership are:

O1: Basis for the common transversal skills developed through Pédagogie de chantier

O2: Training course using the construction Pédagogie de chantier approach

O3: Guide for organizing and leading experimental projects
